Sustainable devices also need long lasting user interfaces. In the keynote ‘User Interfaces & Sustainability — Design considerations for a long service life’ at the the Impact Hub Vienna we share our thoughts on that in our opinon not enough publicly discussed topic or, in other words, can we expect that the continuously evolving standards are nowadays mature enough to be compatible with current soft- and hardware to enable repair- and upgradeability?
